Once upon a time, three friends did roam
To the Mystery Stage, Main Stage, and Rennbahn they went
To pay tribute to their idol Frank Zappa's exhibition
Aboard the Molli, they journeyed to the land
Where bands played warm-up sets and the statue stood tall
Willy the cat, a famous poet of verse and rhyme
Bob the dog, a technical sound man, bald and plump
Dan the horse, a mathematician of fame and renown
All great fans of Frank's originality and self-taught ways
They brought hot beer, magic coconuts, and Spanish wine
To the nun who guarded the statue, petting her Persian cat
She challenged them to present an Alexandrine poem
So they told their story and were admitted
But as they spoke, the nun's brow grew hairy
Her robes turned white and the cat became a guitar
A great solo poured from the nun's hands
As everything around them transformed
They were in the Zappanale, where cute little cats
Purred Zappa tunes with an exceptional cast of musicians
Enthusiastic and high, they lit up cigarettes
And gobbled down the magic coconuts
Happy and content, lost in their drunken haze
They saw the nun among the crowd, winking at them
"You are the winners of the golden ticket," she shouted
"Welcome to this great tribute of mine," and with a wink
The sky opened up and she ascended, rocking her guitar
As the cats followed in procession.
